Invisalign, Clearstep & Conventional Orthodontics

Adults as well as children suffering from overcrowded, widely spaced or crossed over teeth can benefit from Orthodontic treatment.

Invisalign

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth without using unsightly braces.

It consists of a series of clear, removable, plastic Aligners that position the teeth in the desired position. It uses no metal wires or brackets.

Remove Aligners only when you eat, drink, brush and floss.

Invisalign

Total treatment time averages 6 - 15 months depending upon the complexity of the case.

The average number of Aligners you wear is between 18 - 30 and you replace each set of Aligners about every 2 weeks.

Each Aligner is computer designed to fit each patient perfectly.

You only need to visit your dentist every 6 weeks.

Bleaching An Added Bonus

As the clear plastic Aligners are almost identical to home bleaching trays, it gives the patient the opportunity of whitening their teeth at the same time they are being straightened. They would only be charged for the bleaching syringes (£20.00 each). Normally up to 5 syringes for top teeth and up to 5 syringes for bottom teeth.

Invisalign can only be worn by adults. It cannot be used on children or young adults. The system is more ideal for complex cases.

Clearstep

Clearstep is similar to Invisalign but can be used by children and young adults. It can treat certain orthodontics conditions which Invisalign cannot. In general it is more suited to simpler cases, but is less expensive than Invisalign.
