Estimated Fees:
Dentistry is not a precise science, therefore all fees are estimated. Clinical findings at the time of operation may cause estimated fees to alter and planned treatments to change. The practice reserves the right to alter, abort or change treatment as such clinical findings dictate, so that at all times the patient's best interests are served. Estimates are valid for six months after which time they are subject to revision. Financial Policy: It is the Practice Financial Policy that the patient takes care of all charges in full on the day that professional services are provided. In the case of crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, dentures and certain treatment which require several appointments, then payment in full is made at the beginning of treatment. Implants involve stage payments. For your convenience the practice is happy to accept payment by cash, cheque, building society cheque as well as most major credit and debit cards. Private Fees A printed private fee list is available upon request. All Private fees are revised annually each January.
GUARANTEE - All work carries a one year guarantee from completion of treatment against failure of material and/or workmanship. Implants carry a two year guarantee. However, all guarantees are invalid if failure is the result of accident, trauma, illness, neglect, misuse or failure to carry out the dentist's instructions.
No guarantee can be given for root canal treatment, unless treatment can be shown to have been negligently provided. Root treated teeth ar dead, more brittle and weaker than living teeth. Consequently, they do carry a professionally recognised risk of fracturing under pressure.
